The Diploma in Family Medicine offered by Health Services Academy (HAS) is endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA). The contents of this program have been specifically crafted to enhance the knowledge and skill base of general practitioners which will ultimately upgrade the standards of quality patient care, based on core values of family medicine. Among the prime objectives of this course are to build the capabilities of practicing doctors to serve as family physicians in line with international standards by applying effective communication, Evidence Based Practice, medical records management and disease prevention principles.
